About the Role

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to generate new revenue and build lasting client relationships. This is an in-person role based in our Jefferson City office. You will prospect, qualify, and develop opportunities, manage a clean pipeline in HubSpot, and collaborate with company leadership and Account Managers to move deals to close and ensure a smooth handoff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify new business through cold calling, targeted email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
  • Book and run discovery meetings, define next steps, and drive opportunities through the pipeline
  • Own HubSpot usage end to end, including contact and company records, sequences, tasks, deal stages, and dashboards
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs for meetings booked, opportunities created, and revenue closed
  • Develop industry knowledge to tailor outreach and proposals, with a focus on service-based and software-adjacent clients
  • Collaborate with Account Managers for successful onboarding and early client success
  • Provide feedback to improve messaging, collateral, and the sales process

Required Qualifications

  • 2 or more years in B2B business development or sales with measurable results
  • Hands-on HubSpot CRM experience, including sequences and pipeline management
  • Confident cold caller with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized, strong follow-through, and comfortable managing multiple deals simultaneously
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Able to work onsite full-time in Jefferson City, Missouri

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling services or software solutions
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana
  • Process-minded, able to identify bottlenecks and suggest practical fixes

Schedule and Work Location

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard 8-hour shift, no weekends
  • Work arrangement: 100% onsite in Jefferson City, Missouri (no remote or hybrid)
  • Commute and relocation: Reliable commute to Jefferson City, MO 65101, or relocation before start date

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
