Marketing & Social Media Assistant

OC Well Studio is a boutique wellness clinic in Newport Beach offering chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, and natural health services. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing & Social Media Assistant to help us share what we do with our growing community.

This role is ideal for someone who loves health, wellness, and creative storytelling, and enjoys capturing authentic, beautiful content that inspires people to take care of their bodies.

About the Role

This is a part-time, in-person position (5-10 hours/week to start) based in Newport Beach. You’ll work directly with the owner and team to plan, create, and post engaging content across our digital platforms, support promotions and events, and help shape our brand presence online.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and any other relevant media)
• Capture in-studio content: short videos, Reels, photos of treatments, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Collaborate on marketing strategy with the owner and team.
• Assist with monthly marketing calendars and promotions
• Track engagement and create monthly performance reports
• Support with newsletters, blog posts, and community collaborations as appropriate.
• Keep up with local and wellness-related trends and potential community partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of marketing, social media, or creative content experience (or strong portfolio if a student/new grad)
• Proficient in Canva, CapCut/Reel editing, Meta Business Suite, etc.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills
• Strong visual eye for branding and design
• Interest in health, fitness, or holistic wellness a major plus
• Reliable transportation to Newport Beach - must be available to come onsite for content creation.

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time: 5-10 hours per week to start.
• Pay range: $25–$30 per hour depending on experience
• Flexible scheduling — ideal for freelancers, marketing students, or creatives seeking consistent part-time work
