POSITION SUMMARY


The Marketing & Social Media Associate is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of marketing and communications projects across all US revenue channels – retail, digital, corporate order and special events. They are also responsible for carrying out all social media strategies including content creation, strategy planning, and community management. They will manage and monitor costs of marketing and analyze data and key performance indicators for the business.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Financial Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Accountable for the P&L for budgeted marketing spend.
  • Partner with France to effectively roll out and implement all brand objectives
  • Identify, design, and document scalable processes that enable the marketing efforts to be more effective in their daily work and drive alignment within and across departments.
  • Manage the menu change process and coordinate all efforts, information and timelines needed to launch new products and collections in the US channels (physical retail and digital), including but not limited to in-store merchandising and window displays, menus and frames, digital photography, B2B brochures, stickers etc.
  • Conduct ongoing research and competitive analysis in order to consistently evaluate and improve our offering across all revenue channels.

·      Create complete analysis at the end of each collection to be shared internally as well as with the team in France. Analysis includes product mix, PR and communication events, send outs, merchandising support, sales of all locations, sales by each location, benchmarks of competitors, and comments and recommendations for the future to be.

·      Partner effectively with cross-functional business departments —including teams across markets, Customer Service, Creative / Content Creation , Operations, and third-party vendors—to effectively roll out and scale highest impact initiatives.

PR

·      Serve as main contact between PR Agency and Ladurée.

·      Support and plan all press events needed in Ladurée locations to ensure successful execution. Effectively communicate to ensure all items are coordinated across departments in support of the event goals.

·      Organize and carry out all PR send outs and gifting throughout the year.

·      Review all copywriting to ensure in tone authentically Ladurée for the US market.

Social Media

·      Drive creativity and customer insights into all marketing activations to ensure deeper engagement by the community.

·      Ensure that all calendars, grids and marketing initiatives are coordinated across channels, reflect the most up-to-date offering and are executed in tone authentically Ladurée for the US market.

·      Plan and organize the monthly grid including content, copywriting, and any additional social media activity

·      Manage community effectively – respond to DM’s and actively engage with followers through comments and likes

·      Create additional content for social media use like Reels

·      Coordinate with other markets to plan grid and effectively carry out brand guidelines

Retail Marketing

·      Responsible for maintenance of all retail menu (frames, product descriptions, pricing, images) and promotional assets.

·      Keep all digital platforms and third party digital applications related to retail ordering, menus, reservations or reviews including but not limited to Opentable, Trip Advisor, Ubereats, Doordash etc. up to date.

·      Ensure consistent review, audit and enforcement of Ladurée Brand Guidelines with respect to but not limited to, menus, merchandising, window displays.

Partnership Management

  • Review and evaluate all partnership and donation opportunities within a standardized format that considers the context of the opportunity as a financial and/or brand-driving initiative.

·      Organize and plan launches of partnerships and collaborations from start to finish, including post-partnership analysis.

·      Ensure consistent review, audit and enforcement of Ladurée Brand Guidelines with all partners.

·      Communicate the marketing schedule to all licensees and partners.

General Responsibilities

  • Reviews, communicates and follows the Ladurée Guidelines.
  • Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends.
  • Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a Marketing Associate role in the consumer retail industry
  • Experience working with an internation brand and/or subsidiary
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills-a compelling, impactful storyteller

·      Extremely organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at once

·      High degree of initiative to lead and drive projects to completion

·      Strong focus on project management and process improvement

·      High Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Microsoft office

Additional Essential Requirements


·      Must be able to work onsite at all times.

·      Must have valid US work authorization.
