Summary

We are seeking a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team part-time, helping us tell our story, expand our digital presence, and maintain brand consistency across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management

o Curate and post content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Houzz.

o Develop and manage a content calendar (posts, stories, reels).

o Capture and edit high-quality video/photo content from office life, job sites, and client meetings.

o Ensure all content aligns with the Burdge brand: “Coastal, Casual Luxury.”

  • Website & Digital Marketing

o Update and optimize website content, including images, slideshows, and project features.

o Track and improve SEO; create blogs and email campaigns to support visibility.

o Develop targeted content for special initiatives such as fire rebuilds.

  • Branding & Print Media

o Oversee branding consistency across print and digital (logos, email signatures, signage, ad graphics).

o Support holiday mailers, award submissions, and occasional advertisements.

  • Content Creation & Management

o Organize and archive all photos, videos, press articles, and digital assets.

o Coordinate photoshoots quarterly, track upcoming projects for photography, and assist on-site.

o Work with PR and media outlets to secure placement of Burdge projects in top-tier publications.

o Begin coordination for a future Burdge Architects book project.

Expectations

  • Part-time, approx. 20 hours per week.
  • 1–2 days in-office for content capture and team collaboration.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage projects, set timelines, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins with leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong design sense and eye for aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in graphic design (Photoshop or equivalent).
  • Video capture and editing skills.
  • Experience creating social media content for luxury, lifestyle, or design brands.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or social media management.
