Marketing Specialist

Position Overview:

The Marketing Specialist works under the direction of company management and the company’s outsourced Chief Marketing Officer to execute marketing initiatives. This includes managing brand assets, executing social media campaigns, managing web presence, managing sales and customer materials, and event management.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Sales & Customer Materials

● Work closely with management, the sales team, and the customer service team to develop and maintain sales materials. This includes but is not limited to, printed leave-behinds, door hangers, bulletin board hangers, quote templates, service agreement templates, waste audit templates, and email templates.

● Basic graphic design skills and some experience with design software are necessary.

Event Management

● Oversee Momentum’s schedule of events and ensure that Momentum has a presence at relevant events.

● Manage all event assets and materials, such as pop-up tents, tables and chairs, display items, giveaway items, print materials, and contact capture forms.

● Ensure that all events are adequately staffed, that all staff are appropriately outfitted with Momentum logo wear, and that staff are trained to properly represent the Company at events.

● Attend networking events representing the company as needed.

● Take photographs and videos at events for social media posts and blog posts.

Branding

● Help the Company maintain consistent branding across all formats, including printed material, digital presence, logo wear, and company vehicles.

● Help evolve the brand assets, such as logos, as appropriate.

Social Media

● Execute Momentum’s plan for social media presence on all relevant social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.

● Maintain appropriate messaging for both Momentum customers and the public.

● Respond to friend and follower posts.

Web Presence

● Execute website redesigns as needed, as directed by management.

● Maintain the website content and graphics in coordination with management and outside vendors.

General

● Attend team meetings and keep team members informed regarding marketing efforts at meetings.

● Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Momentum Recycling and help to sustain and expand the company’s reputation.

● Other duties as required.

What you offer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Strong understanding of core marketing principles
  • Proficiency in SEO and social media marketing strategies
  • Experience with multichannel marketing and advertising sales
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and digital content creation
  • Knowledge of performance marketing and e-commerce platforms
  • Skills in graphic design and events management
  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze marketing performance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
