As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the credit union’s products, services, and brand growth. This role will support membership growth, deepen member relationships, and enhance the credit union’s presence both digitally and within the community. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement campaigns, create compelling content, and manage digital channels, and analyze marketing performance.
Marketing Specialist Job Responsibilities:

Works to create, design, write, and regularly edit engaging marketing content across multiple channels, including website, email, social media, and print collateral

All content must be developed in alignment with brand guidelines, compliance regulations, and credit union’s overall messaging

Supports in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns for new and existing products and services, special promotions, and membership initiatives

Responsibilities include coordinating the production and distribution of marketing materials with both internal teams and external vendors, as well as tracking campaign performance metrics and contributing to post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement

Manages and schedules social media content across platforms, actively engaging with followers and monitoring industry trends to strengthen digital member connections

Assists in the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and A/B testing, while contributing to SEO efforts through various digital tactics

Responsible for monitoring digital analytics and providing insights to optimize performance across all channels

Assists in developing marketing materials and communication plans to support community outreach efforts, ensuring consistent messaging between marketing initiatives and community relations activities

Represent the credit union as requested and help promote products and services; examples included financial literacy, educational seminars, and other events requiring marketing support, some of which may be after hours

Ensures consistent application of brand standards across all marketing materials and communications while supporting the development of brand awareness initiative that strengthen recognition and trust in the credit union

Assists in gathering market research data on competitor activities, industry trends, and member demographics, and contributes to the analysis of marketing date to identify opportunities and areas for improvement
Marketing Specialist Experience:

Two to Five years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably with a highly regulated industry

Experience with financial industry a plus
