Role Summary
The Marketing Specialist is an entry-level position supporting the marketing, business development, and field operations
teams. This role is responsible for executing communications initiatives, capturing and managing project content from job
sites, supporting proposal development, and maintaining marketing systems that help drive brand visibility and revenue
growth across commercial and infrastructure markets.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Execution & Support
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns supporting business dev. and regional growth initiatives.
- Coordinate creation and distribution of marketing materials like brochures, case studies, presentations, and project sheets.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing assets and channels.
Field & Project Documentation Support
- Coordinate and capture project photography and video on active job sites for proposals, social content, and case studies.
- Work with project leaders to schedule, collect, and organize site reports, progress imagery, and milestone documentation.
Proposals & Business Development Support
- Support proposal and qualification package preparation (RFQs, RFPs, SOQs).
- Coordinate resumes, project descriptions, visuals, and other submission materials.
- Track proposal deadlines and ensure on-time, compliant delivery.
Digital & Content Marketing
- Assist with website updates, content uploads, and basic SEO hygiene.
- Support social media posting and content scheduling with a LinkedIn focus.
- Help gather and prepare project photos, videos, and field content for marketing use.
Data, Reporting & Administration
- Maintain CRM and marketing databases with accurate, up-to-date information.
- Track marketing metrics such as campaign performance, proposal hit rates, and engagement data.
- Support internal communications and cross-department coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability and willingness to visit job sites safely (PPE provided) and collect onsite materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or 0–2 years of experience in marketing, construction, engineering, or professional services.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Deltek.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or SharePoint.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) for proposals and marketing materials.
- Experience with social media scheduling/management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later).
- Basic understanding of SEO tools and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with photo/video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom).
