Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving qualified inbound demand through data-driven digital strategies. This role covers email marketing, paid ads, SEO, conversion funnels, lead magnets, and marketing automation. Working closely with the sales team., The Marketing Specialist ensures SolarTech reaches the right decision-makers, nurtures prospects, and converts interest into pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Oversee and grow social media channels through strategic content, engagement, and performance tracking aligned with business objectives and lead generation goals
Email Marketing & Automation
- Plan and execute targeted email campaigns and automated nurture flows, segment CRM lists, and ensure compliant, data-driven outreach that converts warm leads into opportunities.
Paid Advertising (Performance Marketing)
- Manage and optimise paid campaigns across major platforms, improve conversion funnels through testing and landing page optimisation, and ensure strong ROI and cost efficiency.
SEO & Content Strategy
- Develop and implement SEO strategies while overseeing high-quality, optimised content and industry-specific landing pages to drive organic traffic and qualified leads.
Lead Magnets & Conversion Assets
- Create compelling downloadable resources and build CRM workflows to capture, score, and convert leads while continuously improving conversion rates.
Webinars & Virtual Events
- Plan, promote, and manage webinars, including evergreen funnels, to generate consistent inbound leads.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Execute highly targeted campaigns for key accounts, align closely with SDRs, and personalise messaging by industry or region.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimisation
- Track marketing performance across channels, analyse funnel metrics and ROI, and deliver monthly insights with clear optimisation actions.
Key Systems & Tools
- Experience with CRMs
- Advertising Platforms: LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Power BI dashboards.
- Collaboration: Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Lists).
- Design/Creative: Canva Pro / Adobe Suite (supporting assets).
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B digital marketing with measurable lead generation success.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and performance marketing funnels.
- Hands-on expertise in email marketing and automation platforms.
- Solid understanding of SEO and content-driven lead generation.
- Strong analytical mindset – comfortable with KPIs, attribution, and ROI analysis.
- Excellent project management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with the UK energy/renewables/manufacturing sector (preferred, not mandatory).

Pay: Up to E£27,837.72 per month
