Association Description

The Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) was established by its Founding Companies from Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), BAPCO Refining, Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and OQ. GDA is a non-profit organization that aims to bring leading Downstream players together to further develop the industry and draw mutual benefits from sharing knowledge and best practices.


Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of marketing strategies and handles the implementation of campaigns and initiatives that promote the association’s programs, events, membership, and overall brand presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels.
  • Coordinate content development for social media, publications, and promotional materials.
  • Support the promotion of conferences, workshops, webinars, and training programs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM systems in coordination with relevant roles.
  • Support media engagement and outreach activities with partners and stakeholders.
  • Promote membership growth initiatives and training programs.
  • Maintain marketing materials and records in a centralized repository (e.g., SharePoint).


Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within associations or the energy sector.
  • Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
