WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Marketing specialist, you will develop and execute strategic marketing plans, aligned to local and corporate business priorities, as well as oversee the implementation of integrated multi-touch marketing campaigns to help us develop the marketing pipeline and to deliver leads to our sales team. You will also be accountable for planning and budget oversight for all the marketing activities in your regions and markets, in partnership with other team members. You will be part of the virtual marketing team based in Dubai and South Africa and work in cross-functional teams around the region. However, you will work from the office in Istanbul with your sales colleagues.

Some Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute and follow up on marketing campaigns and activities i.e events, partner shows, webinars, trainings and digital programs driven by Axis and key partners (i.e., distributors, Technology Integration Partners and resellers) in your specific markets to support Axis local sales growth objectives
• Research and identify new marketing opportunities for exposing the Axis brand and message to important target groups
• Drive pipeline generation through integrated demand generation programs, ensuring marketing activities deliver qualified leads and measurable contribution to the regional sales pipeline
• Develop and execute end-customer marketing initiatives targeting priority verticals and key accounts, building awareness and demand directly with decision makers and influencers
• Design and run account-based marketing (ABM) programs for strategic end-customer accounts, in close alignment with sales
• Lead and manage all aspects of physical and virtual events across Turkey and Central Asia
• Actively work with Product Marketing and Sales, to ensure Axis’ product launches are clearly communicated and demonstrated to key target groups
• Drive the Axis Channel Partner Program and develop channel marketing initiatives, including co-marketing plans and activities with distributors and key partners
• Manage local public relations activities, including press releases, media relations and spokesperson coordination, in line with corporate PR guidelines
• Participate in quarterly reviews and planning meetings with local key distributors.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter person with proven experience in leading projects and enjoy being the go-to person for new campaigns and activities, with responsibility for both strategy and execution. The understanding of the different markets is crucial for this role. You need to be able to execute local marketing strategies depending on the territory. We are searching for a dynamic and proactive person – who at the same time conveys a high level of trust, autonomy and accountability.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Degree in Marketing/ Business Administration/ or relevant field
• At least 5+ years of experience working in a similar role
• Experience working for an international company
• Experience working with project/event management and/or channel marketing
• Experience from B2B marketing with focus on developing a 360-degree marketing plan, including demand generation, end-customer marketing and ABM
• Experience from the IT or security industry
• Demonstrated strong stakeholder management skills
• Driven, proactive, and self-motivated team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Turkish and English, Russian is an advantage
