Marketing Specialist (In-Office, Full-Time – Mesa, AZ)

Great! You found and are reading our job posting. This is a great opportunity for the right person who is energetic, creative and fun but also organized, and hard-working to join our fantastic team.

Are you the kind of person who loves figuring out what makes prospects say ‘yes’, and then turning that insight into a campaign that actually works? Do you thrive on keeping projects on track, wrangling details, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks?

Are you someone who:

  • Understands marketing principles, strategy, and tactics, not just doing tasks you're asked to do?
  • Analyzes data, build reports, and make sense of campaign performance?
  • Is organized and detail-oriented but also willing to try new ideas?
  • Wants to grow in marketing by starting with campaign implementation and building into strategy and leadership over time?
  • Is eager to become a master at crushing the competition with fun and attention getting marketing campaigns

If so, keep reading…

THE JOB (aka WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING)

We need a marketing professional — not an admin or secretary. This role is for someone who understands how to coordinate, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels. You’ll make sure campaigns don’t just get started but actually keep running and get results. That means:

  • Coordinating PPC, SEO, email, and direct mail campaigns
  • Updating and optimizing our website
  • Writing and editing marketing copy for emails, ads, landing pages, and blogs (you don’t need to be a pro copywriter, but you need to know what “good” looks like)
  • Managing lists, spreadsheets, reports, and campaign data to keep everything on track
  • Helping analyze results and suggest optimizations
  • Working with designers, writers, and leadership to move projects from idea to execution
  • Pitching creative ideas to test (we love experimenting)

This role is full-time, in-office (Mesa/Gilbert border), and very hands-on.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

This isn’t exact, but here’s an idea of things you'd do throughout a typical week:

  • Compile mailing list and send postcard to printer with instructions
  • Schedule 3 social media posts for next week
  • Outline next month’s social calendar
  • Review ad performance of a specific campaign, make adjustments, and launch a new A/B test
  • Brainstorm the concepts of a new video advertisement
  • Help put the finishing touches on different video ad campaign getting ready for launch
  • Document campaign expenses
  • Schedule 3 marketing emails
  • Draft 1 blog post, get it approved and queued up for publishing
  • Make progress on CRM clean-up and campaign reporting

So, kind of a wide range of different marketing functions.

You’ll collaborate with your manager (that’s me), but we expect you to be independent (or at least have the potential to become independent) and proactive in keeping campaigns moving.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re not looking for a task robot, and we’re not looking for someone whose only marketing experience is posting on social media for their cousin’s Etsy shop. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing coordination, campaign execution, or related roles with an agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Has a sharp mind and is eager to learn more.
  • Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving parts without losing track.
  • Understand marketing strategy and tactics (at least at basic level) and is looking to make a career out of marketing.
  • Understands that marketing is a numbers game and that every campaign can be improved and optimized and is willing to dig into the numbers to figure out what to tweak.
  • Is comfortable with tech and excited to learn new tools (especially AI and marketing automation).
  • Can handle both repetitive tasks (data entry, scheduling posts) and analytical tasks (reviewing campaign results).
  • Communicates clearly, takes ownership, and works well with a team.
  • Wants to grow their skills and expand into bigger marketing responsibilities over time.
  • Knows how to type efficiently on a keyboard with all 10-fingers (it pains me that I have to include that )

TOOLS YOU’LL BE USING HERE

You don’t need to be an expert in these things, but you should already be pretty good with some of these things and comfortable learning and using new tools.

  • Go High Level (CRM), ConnectWise
  • Microsoft 365: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Planner (especially Excel)
  • Google Ads and other ads platforms, Google Analytics, and other data tools
  • Canva (basic asset tweaks — main design is handled by our Graphic Designer)
  • YouTube, WordPress, Email platforms
  • AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Descript, Suno, Kling and more

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of a small marketing team where:

  • We collaborate in person, bounce ideas off each other, and keep things moving
  • We’re fast-paced, energetic, and like to laugh while getting things done
  • Everyone has a voice — we want your input on how to make things better
  • You’ll be counted on as the glue that keeps campaigns running smoothly

CULTURE FIT (DON’T SKIP THIS PART)

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is likeable, fun, positive, and hard-working
  • Plays nice with others (save the drama for your mama)
  • Wants to be part of a team that actually enjoys working together
  • Is humble and open to feedback
  • Brings ideas, energy, and personality into their work and projects
  • Gets excited about helping a business grow and being part of that story

If you’re looking for a rigid corporate structure, this isn’t it. We move fast, we adapt, and we want someone who thrives in that environment.
