Marketing Coordinator
Pay Range: $35,000-53,000/ per year
Summary of Job:
As a Marketing Coordinator you will support the marketing needs of our current clients, internal customers and business development activities. Effectively collect information from coworkers to write and design custom articles and marketing materials to fit DLC’s brand and fulfill the specific client needs. Actively support DLC by promoting and furthering our brand through various efforts by the Marketing department.
Essential Functions:
Serve as an integral part of the Marketing department by producing high-quality internal and external communication pieces.
Work with internal departments and teammates to create client-facing proposals, articles, email updates, PowerPoint presentations, fliers, handouts, videos, newsletters and other items as needed
o* Meeting with department management to understand goals and components*
o* Conducting interviews and taking notes; gathering information and synthesizing technical and industry concepts into relatable and understandable language*
o* Monthly attendance at production meetings to get needed content for monthly client update*
o* Writing marketing pieces that fit with DLC’s brand and voice*
o* Collaborate with social media committee to create and post on all social media platforms*
o* Compiling all components to create finished product*
o* Setting and managing to deadlines to make sure all components are finished on time*
Create Photoshop renderings as needed
Build relationships with internal customers to understand and support their needs
Assist with planning, managing, and executing industry tradeshows, golf events, community events, and other related events
Regular attendance in office or as scheduled, required
Job Skills/Requirements:
Degree in marketing or related field, a plus
Experience in marketing, communications or related field preferred, but not required
Ability to translate industry concepts into relatable and understandable terms
Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
Experience working in InDesign, Photoshop, and photography preferred
Strong written, verbal and editing skills
Strong organizational skills to manage complex events for DLC and for client community events
Professional representation of DLC to our clients
Ability to work independently and proactively
Ability to handle multiple request/projects simultaneously, and within deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, energetic
Manage and utilize internal relationships to complete assigned tasks/projects within assigned deadline
Valid AZ driver’s license and approved to drive for DLC
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment with some travel required
Prolonged sitting at a computer
Prolonged periods of time walking outside
Close vision required for computer monitors and data collection devices
Is subject to frequent interruptions
Standard Office work environment
Ability to move arms, hands and fingers to type
