Master | Drilling Jack-Up

• Job Title: Master.
• Project: Drilling Jack-Up.
• Location: Saudi Arabia.
• Rotation: 28/28 days on/off.
• Salary: 8000 to 8375 EUR monthly salary.
• Duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Contract Start: ASAP.
• Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Chief Mate or Master on jack-up rigs.
• Valid STCW II/2 certification.
• Certified OIM per IMO Resolution A.1079(28).
• GMDSS General Operator Certificate.
• Ship Security Officer certification.
• Completion of Jacking and Rig Move Course.

Tasks:

• Lead all rig operations safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations.
• Act as the onboard authority for health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Maintain vessel security in line with ISPS Code standards.
• Serve as Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) when needed.
• Enforce company SMS, HSE, quality, and labor standards across all crew and operations.
• Monitor and verify that all activities follow client requirements and maritime legislation.
• Report deviations, dispensations, or regulatory issues promptly to shore management.
• Record and investigate accidents, unsafe acts, or hazardous conditions, recommending corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement of operational and safety procedures onboard.
