About Us:
Blackstone Construction LLC is a leading general contractor in the commercial arena, delivering high-quality projects with integrity and excellence. We’re seeking an experienced Master Inspector to partner with our team on a flexible, project-by-project basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of commercial construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, contract agreements, building codes and industry standards.
• Perform field inspections of structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishing trades as required.
• Prepare and submit clear, comprehensive inspection reports, document discrepancies, liaise with contractors and design teams.
• Collaborate with project management, architects, engineers and subcontractors to address issues, clarify code requirements and support project delivery.
• Engage in pre-construction meetings, site visits and quality assurance work as needed.

Qualifications:

• Several years of inspection experience in commercial construction (preferably including multi-unit or large-scale projects).
• Required Certifications / Credentials (or equivalent):
• Valid certification through a nationally recognized body such as International Code Council (ICC) for Commercial Building Inspector or Commercial Inspector, as required by Clark County Building Department and Nevada regulations.
• For Nevada: certified “Inspector of Structures” (Residential/General/Master) under NAC 645D (for covering commercial structure inspection) including:
• At least 60 hours of classroom instruction for certified master inspector status. ATI Home Inspector Training
• Proof of errors-and-omissions and general liability insurance (at least US $100,000 each) for initial certification.
• Hands-on experience in commercial inspections: e.g., for certified master inspector in Nevada at least 400 paid inspections, with at least 50 of them commercial structures or multiple-unit structures. Nevada Legislature
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel to site required).
• Excellent report-writing, communication and team-collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage timing for multiple projects, flexible schedule.

Pay: Commensurate with experience and qualifications. (Project-based / part-time)
