Material Handler — Day Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the movement of all goods and materials within all Business Units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Material Handler II

• Monitor the Support Service Run and respond to customer requests.
• Monitor and clean up Pulse meeting short part lists.
• Part mark and stocks all incoming goods in Parts Room and Build Centers.
• Familiar with materials division layout (bin location, warehouse, freezer/cooler, etc.)
• Understand build center concepts.
• Understand Kanban and MRP Systems.
• Transactions on the computer.
• Handle rush items to Douglas Finishing.
• Help find lost parts on floor and transfer to proper location if needed.
• Bar coding/scanning of print packages.
• Serve as backup where needed in the department.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

The mental and physical ability to learn and perform the above list of duties and responsibilities and/or demonstrated prior work experience. Possesses or is able to obtain forklift certification. Maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
