Material Handler/Forklift Driver

Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for performing shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material movement activities to support operations. This role operates powered industrial equipment (including forklifts) to safely and efficiently receive, store, move, and deliver raw materials, finished goods, and supplies while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards.
Job Duties
Perform duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.
Complete shipments by processing, staging, and loading orders accurately and on time.
Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts) and warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Schedule, move, weigh, stock, receive, and pack inbound and/or outbound warehouse products.
Load and unload trucks following established procedures.
Utilize JDE, RFS, and RF technology to transact inventory movements, receipts, and shipments.
Deliver raw materials and supplies to designated work centers to support production.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels and participating in cycle counts and physical inventories.
Ensure correct labeling, packaging, documentation, and storage of materials.
Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
Complete all required documentation fully, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Adhere to 5S standards, including maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
0–2 years of relevant experience, including experience operating powered industrial equipment.
Powered industrial equipment certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Ability to perform work under direct supervision.
Ability to handle basic issues and problems and escalate more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possess beginning to working knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling practices.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems and RF technology.
Experience and Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
0–2 years of relevant experience, including experience operating powered industrial equipment.
