Job Description:
As a Material Management Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of materials and supplies required for the company’s operations. You will work closely with suppliers, production teams, and other departments to ensure timely and efficient material flow. Your role will involve maintaining accurate records, analyzing inventory trends, and implementing effective inventory management strategies to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the material management process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement material management strategies to optimize inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, usage trends, and reorder points.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to forecast material requirements.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and improve material handling processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in material handling.
- Prepare reports and present findings to management regarding inventory status and material needs.

Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping.
- Familiarity with material resource planning (MRP) and just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
