Could you be the full-time Material Planner in Maneja we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and logistics expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team.You'll play a pivotal role in establishing a robust and agile supply chain through process adherence, routine establishment, and competency management. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the SDPM team, Project Supply Chain Team, and Site Supply Chain functions), drive performance and transformation in supply chain processes, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of supplier relationship management and logistics coordination, but also support in identifying and closing gaps in supply chain processes to achieve target conditions.

We’ll look to you for:

• Expressing delivery needs to suppliers
• Following up on deliveries and ensuring goods availability for Alstom projects
• Monitoring and improving supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Collaborating on supplier selection with supply chain inputs
• Ensuring accuracy of material planning master data and managing material planning documents
• Analyzing supplier confirmations and setting up recovery actions for risks/impacts
• Tracking missing parts and resolving receiving issues
• Driving supplier capacity assessments and contributing to risk assessments
• Adhering to Alstom’s EHS policy and ethical standards

• Engineering degree (e.g., BE in ECE/EEE/Mechanical) with experience in supply chain, logistics, or business management
• Experience or understanding of procurement, material control, and parts control
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement planning, and warehouse management processes
• Familiarity with tools such as SAP GSI, Kinaxis, ASCOT, Qlik Sense, GSI BI
• Proficiency in IT skills (ERP, MS Office tools such as Word, Excel Macro, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in English (Tamil is appreciated)
