Job Description
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a Material Planner who will ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of all necessary raw and packaging materials, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and collaborate with other members of the supply chain team to ensure proper communication and inventory management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute a comprehensive procurement plan for all raw and packaging materials needed for production.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimize inventory costs.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all materials are available when needed and to minimize waste.

Work with the materials management team to identify potential issues and implement processes to quickly resolve them.

Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement of materials.

Create visibility and reporting structures for senior management.

Monitor supply chain losses and near-expired and expired materials.

Work closely with the supply planner to convert an unconstrained demand plan into a constrained supply forecast.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

1 to 3 years of experience.

Strong analytical skills.

Strong communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Power BI experience is a plus.
