Material Requirements Planner

Position Summary:

The MRP Specialist is a dual-role position that supports both administrative front desk operations and materials planning within our manufacturing facility. This individual serves as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and organized front office environment. In addition to reception duties, the role provides critical support in SAP MRP by maintaining accurate material data, analyzing inventory levels, and assisting with sales and operations planning. Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and SAP experience are essential to ensure smooth coordination between supply chain and production teams.


Essential Functions:

  • Front Desk & Administrative Duties:
    • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Maintain visitor logs, issue badges, and enforce facility access protocols.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
    • Support general office administration including filing, ordering supplies, and scheduling.

  • SAP MRP & Planning Support:

    • Maintain and update material master data, stock transport orders, and production schedules in SAP.
    • Monitor inventory levels and generate MRP reports to support sales and operations planning.
    • Collaborate with sales, production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
    • Analyze demand forecasts and consumption trends to optimize inventory levels.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related discrepancies or data issues.
    • Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, and material needs
    • Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.

Additional Functions:

  • Support with ATF A&D log tracing

Position Specifications

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, data analysis).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MRP in a manufacturing or supply chain environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.

  • Education/Experience:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • Experience with SAP modules such as MM, PP, or WM preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and inventory control processes preferred
