Material Support Technician

KEY TASKS

• Act as the point of contact to the customer in managing the day to day material support activities
• Analyze, amend and maintain material management data critical for effective & efficient inventory management
• Advise on supply issues that may impact fleet availability including critical items
• Electronically order & receive material
• Perform supply support management operations
• Assist with Special Tool and Test Equipment (STTE) distribution planning and tracking.
• Prepare various management and logistical reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in material logistics
• College diploma, in a mechanical/electrical discipline, and/or previous Military experience in turret maintenance and support of direct and indirect fire weapons systems
• Experience with the LAV product and military chassis
• Strong decision making ability
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to operate independently while maintaining company safety, quality, and integrity standards
