Materials Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Material Engineer to join our contracting company specializing in road works and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of material testing, approval, and compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all materials used in road and infrastructure works comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for material approvals and submittals.
• Supervise material testing at site and laboratories.
• Prepare material-related documentation and reports.
• Support the project team with technical guidance on material selection and quality assurance.
• Monitor compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Material Engineer in roads, highways, and infrastructure projects (preferably in UAE/GCC).
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards (ASTM, AASHTO, BS, etc.).
• Experience in material testing, mix design, and coordination with labs.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• UAE driving license preferred.
