Materials Manager

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Materials professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Director of Materials Management / Materials Manager, you will be responsible for all purchasing functions, storing, and issuing of food, beverage, general, engineering, and operating equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Managing all administrative functions of the Materials Department, including staffing, training, and related duties.
2. Maintaining appropriate storeroom inventory levels necessary for operations.
3. Overseeing hygiene, fire and safety standards, proper storage arrangements, and cleanliness of storerooms and freezers according to corporate, local, and international standards.
4. Informing management and department heads about pending items, new procedures, system issues, and other relevant matters.
5. Obtaining written approval for established stock levels from the Director of Finance / Financial Controller and General Manager.
6. Issuing regular reports on slow-moving items.
7. Ensuring the validity of items, addressing obsolete stock, and following up on disposal actions.
8. Verifying that all documentation and quotations comply with Rotana Policy and Procedures.
