Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Lunch Break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)

Transport: Self-arranged (Transport allowance available for deserving candidates)

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Manager to lead our material management operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement, inventory control, material planning, and distribution processes. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies, optimizing storage, and supporting production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements in sync with production schedules
• Coordinate procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables
• Establish and maintain robust gate-in/gate-out documentation processes
• Conduct quality checks on incoming materials
• Implement and enforce material issue policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including portable tools (onsite/offsite)
• Analyze BOMs and reconcile with issued materials to identify variances
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for efficiency
• Conduct monthly physical stock audits and reconcile with system data
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including waste reduction and 5S practices
• Supervise and train material handling staff
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience: 3–5 years in materials or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
