Your main tasks

The Material MRP Coordinator oversees the material release process for the assembly and manufacturing processes supporting Internal Manufacturing, Preassembly, and Projects. This is a liaison between the design phase and the operations phase of the projects. This is a part-time role averaging around 24-29 hours a week.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for MBOM verification within MLM software of new or modified projects.
  • Responsible for creation of routings and production orders for parts listed within MBOM of new projects.
  • Responsible for treatment of Modification Change Orders on existing projects to release new part demands.
  • Provides recommendations of internal versus external procurement on fabricated project parts.
  • Support Procurement in identifying vendor capabilities and parts placement with vendors.
  • Support disposition of nonconforming materials affecting the projects.
  • Flexible with the ability to remain highly organized while addressing diverse responsibilities and maintaining workload.
  • Keeps a customer focus when performing work and communicating both with internal and external customers.
  • Is always striving to better themselves by taking personal responsibility to learn and grow while helping the department adapt and grow while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills

  • Highschool Diploma, or equivalent GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and/or minimum of 5 years of Relevant Experience to Manufacturing Engineering role.
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining role (preferred)
  • SAP applicable experience (preferred)
  • Experience working with planning, purchasing, etc. in an MRP system
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from Engineering Drawings
  • CAD, DWF and PDF
  • Ability to work hands on as a team player as well as independently as needed.
  • Possesses demonstrated experience presenting and communicating with large groups.
  • Must be available to work overtime when necessary.
  • May be required to work off shift hours and holidays.
  • May be asked to travel up to 10%

Additional Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid state Driver license
  • Must be able to obtain valid US passport

Pay Range

  • $30 - $37.50 an hour
