Math Teacher - Secondary Stage

Egypt Education Platform is looking for a dedicated and passionate Math Teacher - Secondary Stage to join our teaching staff at Madinaty Integrated Language School. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum for the Secondary Stage, ensuring a focus on mathematical concepts and applications.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and enhance student understanding of mathematics.
• Assess student performance through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and a love for learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote student success and address any concerns.
• Encourage students to engage in higher-level thinking and real-world problem-solving through mathematical applications.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices in math instruction.
• Contribute to the overall school community through involvement in school events and collaborative projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies in math education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire students to appreciate the subject.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative teaching practice.
