MBA/MSC/PhD for Real Estate Startup Cofounder

Small professional services business with access to the ~$12T/day interest rate futures market now seeks a highly educated business professionalto serve an instrumental role in furthering the firm's residential real estate acquisition activity and rental business operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Residential real estate transactions, including purchases from auctions and estates
  • Sourcing vendors and reviewing service-provider agreements
  • Conducting interviews of new locum tenens hires
  • Acting as a liaison for tenants
  • Sourcing property management companies
  • Bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for the outside independent auditor

The company is nearing launch of a high-frequency hedging algorithm capable of ordering significant volumes of credit spreads with Treasury instruments on major exchanges. The approach incorporates techniques the company's founder learned in part from a former Cboe Director, and is intended to supplement rental income while facilitating new property acquisitions.

Given results from early efforts in the rate markets, the position attaches to an opportunity to earn variable compensation up to $2.5M/year. There is a 5% equity vesting program in a $100M cap across a 5 year period for applicants who are willing to use their own cash or credit to the tune of $10k. The goal is to pay a 72% APY dividend for a 100%, which is what Ken Griffin's Citadel does using math he learned studying under our founder's family at Harvard Econ.

The company is a locum tenens group. As a locum tenens group, you are responsible for your own health insurance, unemployment insurance, and retirement planning.
