Fresher / 1–3 years (as per hospital requirement)
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical care to patients presenting with emergencies and acute illnesses.
- Perform initial assessment, triage, and stabilization of emergency patients.
- Manage trauma cases, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, poisoning, burns, and other acute conditions.
- Conduct basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ACLS) procedures when required.
- Perform emergency procedures such as:
- Suturing and wound care
- IV line insertion
- Catheterization
- Ryle’s tube insertion
- CPR
- Order and interpret emergency investigations (blood tests, X-ray, ECG, CT scan, etc.).
- Prescribe and administer emergency medications as per protocol.
- Coordinate with senior doctors, specialists, nurses, and paramedical staff for patient management.
- Decide on admission, referral, or discharge of patients after stabilization.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Communicate clearly with patients and attendants regarding diagnosis and treatment.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and medico-legal procedures.
- Handle medico-legal cases (MLC) and prepare necessary reports.
- Participate in emergency duty rosters, including night shifts and on-call duties.

- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under high-pressure situations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols
- Basic computer skills for EMR documentation
