Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MBBS Doctor to join our Hospice Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance (Q/A) of hospice-related documentation, patient scheduling coordination, and medical fax handling while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (Q/A)
Review and verify hospice patient documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all medical records comply with hospice regulations and internal quality standards.
Coordinate with clinicians, nurses, and administrative staff regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
Monitor patient charts, physician orders, certifications, and related medical records.
Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards.
Scheduling Coordination
Manage and coordinate patient visit schedules for clinicians and healthcare staff.
Ensure timely appointment confirmations and schedule updates.
Communicate effectively with field staff regarding scheduling changes and priorities.
Maintain accurate scheduling records and follow-up logs.
Faxing & Documentation
Handle incoming and outgoing medical faxes professionally and efficiently.
Upload, organize, and maintain patient records in the system.
Ensure timely transmission of physician orders, certifications, and related documents.
Track pending documents and follow up with relevant parties for completion.
Requirements
MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Good computer proficiency, including MS Office and EMR/EHR systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Prior experience in hospice, healthcare coordination, medical billing, or quality assurance will be preferred.
