Industry & Sector: Healthcare — Occupational / Industrial primary care and outpatient services for a field dispensary serving employees at a project site in Odisha. This on-site role delivers day-to-day OPD clinical care, statutory health screening and first-response emergency management in a corporate/field health setting.

Role (Primary title): Medical Officer (OPD) - MBBS

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations for employees: assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe for common acute and chronic conditions during 9:00–17:00 clinic hours.
  • Triage and stabilise medical emergencies on-site, provide first-line emergency care and arrange timely referral or evacuation to higher centres as required.
  • Perform minor procedures (wound care, suturing, dressing changes), basic investigations and interpret routine ECGs and labs where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential medical records, statutory registers and incident reports; ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate occupational health activities: pre-employment and periodic health checks, immunisation drives and workplace health promotion with site administration.
  • Follow infection control, safety protocols and regulatory reporting; collaborate with on-site teams and off-site specialist providers for continuity of care.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS degree with valid NMC/State medical registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proven OPD clinical experience in primary care or occupational health
  • Ability to perform minor procedures and emergency stabilisation
  • Strong medical record keeping and statutory reporting experience
  • Willingness to commit to a minimum 1-year on-site posting

Preferred

  • Experience in occupational/industrial health programs
  • Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and remote consultation workflows
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Compensation, Logistics & Requirements

  • CTC: INR 80,000–90,000 per month (PF & PT deductions apply). Approx. in-hand: INR 75,000–85,000/month.
  • Accommodation provided (company-arranged rented flat ~2–3 km from dispensary). Food arrangements: access to site canteen available; candidates should be prepared to arrange meals as required.
  • Transportation to site is not provided; candidate must arrange their own commute. On-site attendance required (ON_SITE).
  • Working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Minimum commitment: 1 year.
