Senior Medical Officer (MBBS) — Jewar, Uttar Pradesh (On-site)

About The Opportunity

We operate in the primary & community healthcare sector, delivering comprehensive outpatient, occupational and preventive health services to semi-urban and industrial communities. This on-site clinical role is based in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, and focuses on high-quality patient care, emergency response, and trusted clinical oversight of day-to-day medical operations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide timely clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for outpatients and walk-in emergencies, ensuring safe, evidence-based care.
• Stabilise and manage acute medical conditions and minor emergencies; initiate referrals to higher centres when required.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, wound care, injections) and document clinical findings and procedures in the EMR accurately.
• Prescribe medications, oversee follow-up plans, and counsel patients and families on treatment adherence and preventive health.
• Lead on-site clinical governance: maintain medication safety, infection control standards and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, allied health teams and external specialists to ensure seamless patient referrals and continuity of care.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Must-Have
• MBBS degree from a recognised medical college with valid medical council registration.
• 2+ years clinical experience in primary care, outpatient medicine or hospital settings; hands-on emergency care exposure.
• Proficiency in EMR documentation, prescriptions, and basic minor procedures; BLS certification preferred.
• Preferred
• Experience working in community health centres, occupational health clinics or multi-doctor outpatient facilities.
• Good command of Hindi and English for patient communication; familiarity with local referral networks in Uttar Pradesh.
