We are seeking an experienced Meat Processing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in meat cutting, processing, and preparation of value-added products such as burgers, sausages, and other processed meats. Experience in dry meat production is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare processed meat products such as:
  • Burgers
  • Sausages
  • Boerewors
  • Perform professional meat cuts including:
  • Fillet
  • Steak
  • Other standard and custom cuts
  • Prepare and process dry meat products
  • Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain quality control and consistent product standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Meat Processor, Butcher, or similar role
  • Skilled in both fresh meat cutting and processed meat production
  • Knowledge of dry meat preparation techniques
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal training in butchery or meat processing
  • Previous experience in a commercial meat production facility
