Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the performance of vehicles. Services include oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, Annual State Inspection, and other various services related to the Heating, A/C, and electrical systems. This role is responsible for operating one bay at the station.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose issues with vehicles using automotive diagnostics techniques.
  • Perform routine services, repairs, and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance of vehicles and meet safety compliance.
  • Use safety awareness guidelines at all times while performing service on vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding repairs, costs, timeframe, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3 years mechanic experience.
  • ASE certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, automotive diagnostics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 pounds and access all areas of the bay.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and working on vehicles.
