Mechanic

Mechanic – Diesel, Gas & Small Engine

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of diesel and gas-powered trucks, trailers, and commercial landscaping equipment. Experience with small engines is required.

Please note: Our shop is fully equipped with most mechanic tools; however, we do not have a vehicle lift. Candidates must be comfortable working in that environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, belts, filters, etc.)
• Repair and maintain small engines (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep accurate service and repair records

Qualifications

• Proven experience with diesel and gas engine repair
• Strong small engine repair experience
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues efficiently
• Must be comfortable working without a lift
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)

Preferred Skills

• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Experience working with commercial landscaping equipment

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay based on experience
• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday (some seasonal overtime may be required)
