Mechanic – Industrial Equipment Repair

Location: Madisonville, KY

Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay: $19 – $25/hr

Type: Direct Hire

What You’ll Do

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild electric motors and rotating equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and some electrical issues
• Work on pumps, gearboxes, AC/DC motors, and generators
• Replace bearings, seals, shafts, windings, and mechanical components
• Perform testing and balancing on rebuilt equipment
• Follow repair specs, tolerances, and alignment requirements
• Document repairs, parts used, and job time
  
  

What They’re Looking For

• 2+ years hands-on mechanic or industrial repair experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Basic electrical knowledge is helpful
• Experience using measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to work independently and on a team
  
  

Work Environment

• Industrial repair shop setting
• Hands-on tear down and rebuild work
• Exposure to machinery, noise, oils, and solvents
• Physically active role (lifting, standing, climbing, reaching, etc.)
