Mechanic

Company Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles (pickup trucks, trailers, light-duty fleet)

· Diagnose and repair equipment including:

• Compact excavators
• Skid steers/ track loaders
• Wheel loaders
• Lawn mowers
• Small engines and jobsite equipment

· Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel/gas engine inssues

· Handle preventative maintenance (oil changes, filters, greasing, inspections)

· Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed

· Maintain service records and tracker maintenance schedules in UpKeep

· Coordinate with management on major repairs or outsourced work

· Ensure all equipment is safe and job-ready daily

Qualifications:

· 3+ years mechanical experience (automotive or diesel and equipment)

· Ability to work on a mix of trucks and equipment

· Valid Driver’s License required

· Basic knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems and engines

· Demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task and apply initiative

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Computer proficient and experience with a maintenance management system (i.e. UpKeep)

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

· Must be able to move, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time

· Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs with regularity and up to 100lbs on occasion.

· Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and being regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, hot/cold and while moving equipment

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
