Duties

• Assist senior mechanics with routine vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic mechanical work under supervision
• Support in the use of diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues
• Prepare vehicles for service by cleaning parts and organizing tools and equipment
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities to ensure a secure work environment
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
• Help with the inventory management of tools, supplies, and replacement parts

Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn more advanced techniques
• Proficiency in handling hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and repair processes
