Job Title: Mechanic Service Technician

Job Summary: A Mechanic Generator Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators, ensuring their proper functioning in a variety of environments. This role requires technical expertise in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The technician must be capable of working independently or as part of a team to maintain the reliable operation of generators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair generators, including diesel, gas, and propane-powered systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in generator systems and provide timely, effective repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, fuel system maintenance, and battery checks)
• Assist in Troubleshooting in Mechanical and Electrical faults
• Assist Testing and inspection of generators to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
• Perform load bank testing to ensure generators are capable of handling full operational loads.
• Maintain Service records and reports
• Assist in conducting preventive maintenance checks and services

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or vocational education is preferred).
• Certification or licensing in generator maintenance and repair (e.g., OEM certifications, NETA, etc.) is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Generator Technician or in a similar mechanical/electrical maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gas generator operations and repair.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• Basic English is required
• Must have UAE Driving license
