Mechanic (Textile Factory)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician / Mechanic for our textile factory. The candidate must have at least 6 years of hands-on experience working with textile machinery, especially barrel washing machines, Yelmek dryers, and wet processing equipment. The mechanic will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of machines to ensure uninterrupted production. The offered salary range is PKR 50,000 to 60,000 per month, based on experience and skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and repair textile factory machinery, including barrel washing machines, Yelmek dryers, hydro extractors, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance to reduce machine downtime.
• Identify mechanical faults quickly and carry out timely troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure machines are running safely, efficiently, and smoothly during production.
• Coordinate with production staff to minimize disruption during maintenance work.
• Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts usage records, and machine service history.
• Follow HSE and safety procedures while working on machines and tools.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a mechanic in a textile factory (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of barrels, Yelmek dryers, and textile wet processing machinery.

Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and machine manuals.

Skilled in using mechanical tools and maintenance equipment.

Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently under pressure.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
