Junior Engineer- Engineering

NCRi Solutions is looking for the Junior Engineer for one of the biggest Conglomerate clients based in UAE who provides vital assistance to the Site Planning Engineer in the coordination and preparation of comprehensive project reports. This support role allows the Site Planning Engineer to focus on client management, turnkey contractor coordination, and the maintenance of site records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor project processes to prevent potential delays.
• Ensure timely submission of all required reports to protect the project from adverse impacts or damages resulting from client or consultant assessments.
• Coordinate with various functions to prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for client submission. Reports include progress summaries, variance and critical path analyses, manpower histograms, QA/QC and HSE statistics, and change logs.
• Prepare internal monthly dashboards and management review presentations using data inputs from Project Managers and CVR updates from Xpedeon.
• Attend internal procurement meetings and track material submittals from the RFQ stage through to delivery.
• Follow up with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
• Assist the site planner in preparing resource-loading programs, including the breakdown of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Job Cost Analysis (JCA).
• Update risk registers and "lessons learned" documentation on a monthly basis. Assist with data entry tasks as required by the client or site planner.
• Actively track and monitor engineering and procurement processes to identify and avoid project delays.
• Regularly coordinates with the Senior Manager - Planning, Site Planning Engineers, Site Project Managers, and the Design and Procurement teams.
• Interacts with equipment supply vendors and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Software: Proficiency in Oracle Primavera EPPM.
• Tools: Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience

• Professional Background: 4–5 years of experience in large-scale MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects and District Cooling plant construction.
