Job Title: Mechanical and plumbing Supervisor

Location: Qatar University

Salary: QAR 3,500 (All Inclusive)

Job Type: 1 Month contract (Extendable based on project requirement)

Working Hours: 9 hours per day

Work Days: 6 days a week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Supervisor with strong expertise in pump maintenance and general plumbing systems within facility management environments. The candidate will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, ensuring efficient operation of water systems, and leading a team of technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily maintenance activities related to plumbing, pumps, and firefighting systems.
• Monitor and maintain domestic water systems, drainage systems, sewage systems, and piping networks.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of booster pumps, transfer pumps, circulation pumps, and firefighting pumps.
• Ensure proper functioning of firefighting systems including sprinkler systems, hose reels, landing valves, and fire pumps.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and assign tasks to technicians.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing and mechanical system issues efficiently.
• Conduct inspections to ensure all systems operate safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and coordinate with facility management teams.
• Monitor spare parts, materials, and maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical/Plumbing Supervisor in Facility Management (FM) companies.
• FM company experience is mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience in, general plumbing systems, pump maintenance and troubleshooting, firefighting systems maintenance.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and MEP maintenance operations.
• Ability to supervise technicians and manage site activities independently.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• GCC experience preferred.
