Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and prototyping.
• Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T, and BOM preparation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to ensure design feasibility.
• Conduct design validation, stress analysis, and simulations to optimize performance.
• Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Maintain proper documentation of designs, revisions, and engineering changes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, surface modeling, drawings).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics).
• Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals (mechanics, thermodynamics, materials).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design (freshers with strong SolidWorks skills may also apply).
• Exposure to product development lifecycle.
• Experience in automation, automotive, consumer products, or industrial equipment design is an advantage.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
