Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. The role involves creating detailed drawings, performing simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
• Conduct design calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Identify and resolve design issues, implement design changes, and maintain design revisions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest mechanical design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Provide technical support to project teams and clients as needed.
• Commissioning of the products at site

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, thermodynamics, material science).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
