Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in design software. This role involves creating detailed designs and specifications for mechanical systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. The Mechanical Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life through effective system design and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software, including SolidWorks and Creo.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to define project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize MATLAB for simulation, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts.
• Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of design milestones.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing process, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
• Maintain documentation of design processes, changes, and specifications for future reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo) for mechanical design.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to apply principles of system design effectively.
• Experience with project scheduling tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with MATLAB for analysis purposes is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
