Position: - Design Engineer

Roles:

• System Designer – Convert customer requirements into workable automation designs.
• Technical Contributor – Develop 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Problem Solver – Provide innovative design solutions for automation challenges.
• Team Player – Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, controls, manufacturing).
• Support Engineer – Assist in prototyping, assembly, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Understanding

• Study client specifications and application requirements.
• Support feasibility analysis and concept development.
• Design & Development
• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Select suitable actuators, sensors, robots, and other automation components.
• Engineering Calculations
• Perform strength, tolerance, and material selection analysis.
• Ensure mechanical integrity, reliability, and safety.
• Prototyping & Validation
• Support prototype development and testing.
• Assist in troubleshooting and making design modifications.
• Ensure designs meet required cycle time and accuracy.
• Documentation
• Maintain design reports, drawings, and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety guidelines.
• Project Execution Support
• Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and vendors.
• Provide technical support during assembly, installation, FAT & SAT.
• Continuous Learning
• Keep updated on automation technologies, robotics, and Industry 4.0 trends.
• Suggest improvements in design processes and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Automation.
• 5 – 8+ year’s experience in mechanical/product design or related engineering.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and tools.
