Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical designs for projects in accordance with client requirements and applicable codes.
• Design and optimize cable reels (wooden and metal) for strength, durability, and cost efficiency.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Perform structural and load calculations for cable reels to ensure safe handling and transportation.
• Select appropriate materials for wooden and metal reels based on mechanical properties and environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and quality of reel designs.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and technical submissions related to cable reels and associated components.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during production and assembly phases.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Stay updated with new technologies and industry best practices in cable reel design and mechanical systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in cable reel or industrial product design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, material selection, and structural analysis.
• Familiarity with international standards for cable reels and packaging.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication abilities.
