Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

To design mechanical components and systems, perform structural calculations, and ensure safety and compliance through load testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.

Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and safety factor evaluations.

Plan, conduct, and validate load tests as per applicable standards.

Ensure designs comply with industry codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams for design implementation.

Review test results and recommend design improvements where required.

Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and test records.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in mechanical design and load testing (preferred in structural/heavy engineering).

Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

Knowledge of relevant standards and testing procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
