Mechanical Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager with a strong background in data centre projects to lead the design and delivery of MEP systems across high-profile projects in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of data centre projects from concept through to delivery
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams (MEP, BIM, consultants)
• Ensure designs meet hyperscaler standards for reliability, efficiency, and scalability
• Review and approve design deliverables, calculations, and technical submissions
• Work closely with project, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure alignment
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet expectations
• Support construction teams in resolving design-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in MEP design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems for mission-critical facilities
• Experience working with hyperscalers or Tier 1 data centre clients
• Proficiency in BIM and design tools
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
