Mechanical Designer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in mechanical design using Creo and Windchill PDM, and a passion for continuous learning and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sheet metal modeling and mechanical assemblies, with an interest in expanding into electrical design tools and electronic component layout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Creo.
• Manage design data and documentation through Windchill PDM.
• Create detailed sheet metal models and drawings with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Support integration of electronic components into mechanical designs (experience preferred but not required).
• Learn and apply AutoCAD Electrical for basic electrical layout tasks (training provided).
• Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Experience with Windchill PDM for product data management.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal design and mechanical assemblies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with electronic component layout in mechanical designs.
• Exposure to or interest in AutoCAD Electrical (training available).
• Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
