Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee and manage the maintenance and servicing of our transport fleet and mechanical assets. The ideal candidate will ensure that all vehicles and equipment meet ADNOC subcontractor requirements and comply with UAE safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor a preventive maintenance schedule for all company vehicles and machinery.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
• Supervise and guide mechanics/technicians in performing maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure all services (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) are performed as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for spare parts, repairs, and external services.
• Implement best practices to reduce breakdowns, optimize costs, and improve equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC and UAE transport regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical reports to management on fleet condition, service needs, and cost analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, transport fleet, or heavy equipment industry (experience with ADNOC contractors is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with heavy vehicles, buses, pickups, and machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a small team.
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and MS Office/Excel.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
